Jack Williams begins as news anchor at WBZ.

The Idaho native had previously held the same position in Las Vegas. During his 40-year tenure at WBZ, Williams has only three partners – Tony Pepper, Liz Walker and Lisa Hughes. In 1981, Williams establishes “Wednesday’s Child,” a weekly segment that leads to the adoption of thousands of special needs children. His last day before retiring is on June 25, 2015.
